First Day of What Grade?

Today my babies started school, again. Michael is in 3rd grade and Mavrick is in 2nd! They were really excited this morning. Michael said he was “ready” and chattered all the way to school. This afternoon they told me all about their day and how nice it was to be back. Mavrick, of course, was chased by all the girls in his class. Here are some pictures from this morning!

Today’s Mavrickism – On the way home from school, about 3:45 this afternoon. “Mom, did you have any beer today?” Seems he is concerned about my “social drinking.” He told me yesterday no more and was pretty upset to find out that I drank beer. Somehow, wine is ok, so I have bought me a bottle and I am learning to be a wine girl.
